...hoping not to start a war here but this has been on my mind for a short while. I still see "natural" people ragging on those, like myself, who succumb to the "creamy crack" phenomenon. How are we any different than those wear natural hair but still chose to pick up a bottle to change their natural color, refusing to embrace the gray, etc? Just curious.....

WTF does what you do with your hair have to do with anyone else? A real friend wouldn't even entertain thoughts like that. *pffft*

ReplyDeleteI have done both natural and perm. So to all the naysayers either way I say FUCKEM! I have friends who have worn locs or a fro for 20 years and NEVER had a bad thing to say about a perm and vice versa. But some folks like to get up on their soap boxes and put others down for whatever reason. Like Alexander O'Neal said some people just like to criticize.
ReplyDeleteI agree, but the question was directed to those who rag on & "preach" those who are still "hooked". I see it more often than not & want someone to explain the difference between relaxing & coloring when it comes to being natural.
