1. Do not lose weight. Hell, I might even gain a few lbs., staying fat, fine & fabulous!
2. Cuss often. Let these !#%$& know I ain't no joke!
3. Wait until I'm down to my last pair of good panties, before doing the laundry.
4. Eat cookie dough right out of the package.
5. Fry everything! Chicken, pork
, beef
, fish, potatoes, etc.
6. Drink more! My bottles are too busy collecting dust. Cheeeeeeeeers!
7. Eat more homemade desserts! They're better for you than store bought, right? Right!
8. Entertain countless dead-end 'lationships. A girl can never have too many broken hearts, right?
9. Oversleep daily & arrive to work late 4 out of 5 days of the week. It ain't like the work is gonna leave if I'm not there on time, right?
10. Start to clean my house on Saturday, do 1 or 2 things, sit down, log on, pop in a DVD & completely waste the entire day.
These are the things I know I can do successfully in 2010 & beyond!
Great list! Is hosting game night on that list??
ReplyDeleteI like number 10! I pretty much rang in my new year's day doing just that!
ReplyDeleteOnce the weather breaks, 'cause we're long over due.
ReplyDeleteMy resolution.to TRY. I will try everyoned nerves. Try to loose weight. Try to be patient. If I promise to try then there is no failure.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try and lose some weight and stop smoking, I am sick of dialysis and want to be on the transplant list. So the cat and I are going to lose some weight(he is going on weight control formula and no more snacks cuz he is a little thick in the middle)The people at work are going to catch hell(no smoking......good for me, bad for them lol)
ReplyDelete@dasoulfulsiren, this is the year we both put dialysis behind us!
ReplyDeleteYou know I'm gonna be praying that nicotine monkey releases you!
ReplyDeleteWill also be praying you both get on the list receive a transplant!
ReplyDeleteI like this list. The only thing on mine is to be a better father.
ReplyDeleteI'm also praying for both of you to have successful transplants.
I'm gonna sure try, my job did the switcheroo on our health insurance at the last minute(open enrollment dec 15 new insurance starts jan 1)screwed up my transplant appt, hopefully can reschedule next week. Then its a waiting game, I refuse to accept a kidney from my daughter, so only time will tell, but I am truly tired of dialysis, thats for sure.
ReplyDeleteKeep in mind that George Lopez received a kidney from his wife, so miracles happen every day!
ReplyDeleteMe & a few of my female cousins offered to be tested for my uncle but he refused also. He always been the family clown & was adamant about not wanting anything from a female in his body. We knew his reason were probably the same as yours. He finally got one from some who had passed (not sure if the donor was male or female) but he took it & didn't have any rejection issues.
ReplyDeleteI PRAY THIS DAY COMES FOR YOU BOTH!!!!
Thanks Mo! I don't want your "boyfriend" donating either!
ReplyDelete...a Mother's love!
ReplyDeleteI could never live with myself if something happened to my baby, she just turned 26 and is still my baby and still eats out my damn plate. Because hypertention and diabetes runs in our families I'd rather her have both. Hopefully if she keeps up with this healthy lifestyle she won't ever deal with either of these issues. She hasn't been married or had babies yet, I just can't accept this gift from her. I appreciate the thought but I told her when she has babies of her own she will understand.
