(Michael Jackson) Superstar - Billie Jean's Revenge

I posted this song & a few of my groups (w/o the audio) & and nobody remembered it. Thanks to youtube here's a much edited version, but you'll get the gist.

Superstar - Billie Jean's Revenge ~ 1983
by Lydia Murdock

We made love in a mad embrace
Now you say you don't know my face
Superstar
You know just who you are

You tell the world, you don't even know me
A contradiction of the love you show me
Superstar
You know just who you are

(CHORUS):
I'm Billie Jean and I'm mad as hell
I'm a woman with a story to tell
Superstar
You know just who you are
(Who you are, who you are, who you are)

You can't love a woman and push her aside
'Cause she got feelings, just like you do
A woman's got her pride
I don't want nothing from you
That's not what I'm about
But you've been lying, there's no denying
It's time that the truth came out
Hey-hey, hey-hey

(CHORUS)

Late one night, you rang my phone
You called to make sure that I was all alone
You said you were feeling down
And couldn't be seen around
One thing led to another
You became my lover, you said
"Let's keep it secret, let's not spread it around"
You send me flowers and diamonds
And said that you were in love
You said you never met a girl
That you thought so much of

Superstar
You know just who you are
(Who you are, who you are, who you are)

And then all of a sudden
You just stopped coming by
You never called on the phone
And I didn't know why
Too many fellas nowadays
Push their girl aside
First they get what they want
Then they run off and hide
But baby, time went by
I was not upset
And then much to my surprise
One day to my regret
Well the doctor said that
There will soon be two
And there's a little one coming
There's a man in you

I was in shock
I thought I'd faint
And I was petrified
First I laughed 'cause I was happy
Then I started to cry
And when the baby was born
I sent you a telegram
But it came back saying
You don't know who I am

Superstar
You know just who you are
(Who you are, who you are, who you are)

I saw you in a club one night
And I did not intend to start a fight
But when you said who am I
You don't know my face
I went off, I made a scene
I really wrecked the place
And I know you might be a big superstar
And the whole wide world knows who you are
But the next time we meet
If you don't want a scene
Tip your hat with respect
'Cause I am Billie Jean

Superstar
You know just who you are
(Who you are, who you are, who you are)

(CHORUS)

I'm Billie Jean, I'm mad as hell
I'm Billie Jean, I'm mad as hell

HR101 - Resumes & Job Applications

As most of you know, HR Management is how I make a living. Nothing pains me more than to see foolish mistakes on resumes & job applications.

With that being said, here is Lesson #1:

If your email address resembles or falls into the same category, as the ones shown below, do not, I repeat, do not use it on your professional resume or corporate job application.

sweetpuzzy4u@blah.com; eatmeforever@blah.com; bigdick12inch@blah.com; bendmeover@blah.com; lickmeright@blah.com, etc.

I’m here to tell you, when employers see shit like this on resumes and/or applications, you will go directly to the “No Thank You Letter” pile…. qualified or not.

Consider creating email addresses like: jdoe@blah.com; janecdoe@blah.com; jcd1234@blah.com for professional use.

Now if you are applying for a position at “The Nasty Kitty & Co.” or “King Ding-a-Ling, Inc.” by all means, feel free to show your creativity by using these kinds of email addresses on your applications. Otherwise, leave your sexually expressive/suggestive email addresses out of your corporate employment pursuits.

If you choose not to take heed & make the changes I've suggested, don't blame "the man" when the Fortune 500 company you applied with never calls you back.

Feel free to comment with any suggestions, questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

The HR Lady

Top Ten Thurs. - Bucket List

I'm sure you've all seen the previews to The Bucket List.  With that being said, here are the Top 10 things I want to do before I "kick the bucket".

  1. Finish my degree
  2. Travel to the Motherland
  3. Clear 6 figures (net)
  4. Design & build my home from the ground up
  5. Learn to fluently speak a foreign language, preferably Italiano or Espanol
  6. Learn to drive a stick shift
  7. Finish my novel & get published
  8. Visit all the US States
  9. Design my own wardrobe
  10. Retire while I'm still healthy & {hopefully} have enough loot to really enjoy it.

Some of these are a no-brainer, while a few will take some work, but dammit I'm determined!

What about you?

New Year Resolutions.....

I know I can keep!

1. Do not lose weight. Hell, I might even gain a few lbs., staying fat, fine & fabulous!

2. Cuss often. Let these !#%$& know I ain't no joke!

3. Wait until I'm down to my last pair of good panties, before doing the laundry.

4. Eat cookie dough right out of the package.

5. Fry everything! Chicken, pork, beef, fish, potatoes, etc.

6. Drink more! My bottles are too busy collecting dust. Cheeeeeeeeers!

7. Eat more homemade desserts! They're better for you than store bought, right? Right!

8. Entertain countless dead-end 'lationships. A girl can never have too many broken hearts, right?

9. Oversleep daily & arrive to work late 4 out of 5 days of the week. It ain't like the work is gonna leave if I'm not there on time, right?

10. Start to clean my house on Saturday, do 1 or 2 things, sit down, log on, pop in a DVD & completely waste the entire day.

These are the things I know I can do successfully in 2008 & beyond!

Public Blogs & Spying Eyes

I googled my all of my user-names, just for the hell of it & discovered a lot of my fellow Plyers have public blogs.  I was able to view the blogs & all of the replies in my search.  Gladly, none of my blogs appeared as I only extend mine to my network.  Just thought you all should know.

PS It's the last day of vacation *sigh*, it's cold as a whore's heart & I'm bored as hell.
