Guestbook Glittery Comments & all that Jazz

While I appreciate the thoughts that come with the tags, I would rather you not leave them in my guestbook.  I just visited a friend's guestbook and a MySpace ad is covering part of her comment box due to the glittery tag thingy left by a previous visitor.

Personally, I would much rather read & display personal messages versus the copied & pasted tags.

I log on at work so I definitely don't want the Adult Hump Day or Freaky Friday ones.

Don't get me wrong because I love graphics & some of your pages are very nice.  It makes my page hopping that much more enjoyable.

The tags, however,  take me back to my BlackPlanet days & currently MySpace (which I loathe).  With BP you did have the option to turn HTML off.

No disrespect to anyone who has left one for me, cause I still *heart* all y'all!!

My feelings won't be hurt if I don't get a "It's the Weekend Baby" or "Kiss My Ass" tag.

XOXO

  4. Can the chuuch say Amen???! I had to go through and delete all the big "A" glittery messages too. It was taking my page forever to come up. Now, I love the fact that people took the time stop stop and leave an imprint on my page. I love the love but the graphics ain't hittin.

  6. LOL some are cute, but it's already losing it's appeal with me. I just try to leave heart felt messages for folks. Shoot too much trouble finding a different graphic for a different person!! LOL

  7. TNP-- You got that right. I guess that is why most folks leave the same graphics on EVERYBODY'S page.

  11. I love graphics, too, but I feel what you're saying. I think people forget that not everyone has EXTREME high speed internet so it takes a lot longer for pages to load.

I really do not like the explicit graphics like the hump day ones. And as a rule, I only leave graphic comments for people who leave me one.
