I'm sure most of you don't need this so, feel free to pass this info along to the youngsters entering the workforce.
I've been thinking about getting inked, but of course I'm thinking about a discreet locale for my tat because I want to keep my professional image. Although I work around people with them (but they don't look like Lil Wayne or anything), I still know that my current job may not be the end-of-the-road for my career.
ReplyDeleteI had a young lady come & interview for a mail clerk postion. She had a big strawberry on her neck with a bite taken out AND juice droplets. I kindly told that she needed to cover it with makeup or clothing when interviewing or working in a professional environment. It might be ok if you're interviewing at Def Jam or The Nasty Kitty but corporate USA will look right past your skills & abilities because of such.
ReplyDeleteNasty Kitty.....lmbo!!!
ReplyDeleteYou educate them youngins Mo!
