Friends, what animate and/or inanimate object(s) are you afraid of?
My nephew, Adrian, is deathly afraid of clowns & has never even seen Stephen King's It. I think It would send that child over the edge.
My nephew, Darnell, as a young kid, was afraid of the intro music to Tales from the Crypt. On the 1st note, that boy hauled ass! It was hilarious!
Playcuzzin has/had a fear of ashes. 
I watch a lot of Discovery Channel, so alot of marine life scares me. I love the beach & the ocean, but I will not go into water that is not clear.
Case in point - I went into the Gulf of Mexico at South Padre Island a few years ago & the water was murky, but I toughed it out....until seaweed floated across my thighs! I just knew it was a damn jellyfish. Needless to say, I got the hell outta the Gulf....after I fell forward & ended up with a mouth full of salt water.
By the way, that's a Black Widow Spider above. Isn't she lovely?

TNP hates Mice and Rats, and yeah I scream and jump at bugs. Yeah I said it!! But big bugs. Not small ones. Everytime one of those monster roaches enter my apartment first I yell in fear, then I grab the raid and start screaming like some Zulu Warrior Princess trying to kill the thing.
ReplyDeleteI don't like spiders, but will stomp one. I'm still afraid of big dogs, but can deal with small dogs.

ReplyDeleteI have a black widow tattoo on my left shoulder. Ask Darryl what happens when ANYTHING moving in my house enters my field of visions (cut to view of Silky as a shrieking mess)
ReplyDeleteYeah I feel TNP on the mice and rats thing. But I'm not afraid of other rodents like squirrels or hamsters. I would be afraid of black widows and tarantulas, but I would play with a daddy long legs. I hope I never see a monster roach. I'd probably run from it. I'm not afraid of pet snakes, but don't let me see one in the wild. I am also afraid of ferocious dogs especially pit bulls. I'm highly afraid of being suffocated. Nothing can touch my nose.
