Community Property - The Unofficial Definition

Community Property (CP) - Loosely stated, this is a man or woman who engages in sexual activity with multiple people in the same area, location, web-based/social group(s) and hell even families, hence the term community.  This person is not seeking a relationship of any kind...just hit it & quit it.  They may come back for more but please don't mistake yourself for "the one". You are just a good fuck.

Sometimes this person is honest about said activity within the community, sometimes not.  If this person is honest with all involved residents of the community, peace & harmony will reign.  However, if this person is not truthful about said activity (i.e., shucking & jiving, slipping & sliding, lying & conniving), the possibility of all hell breaking loose is on the horizon.

Just remember, let no man nor woman break the bonds of true friendship, sisterhood or brotherhood.  CP (also commonly referred to as "just a piece of ass") is not worth it!

Try your damndest not to catch feelings for known CP or even suspect CP....you'll regret it if you do.

You got to let a ho' be a ho'.

Any questions?

I'm Tired Too Dammit

Rating:★★★★★
Category:Other
I had a slight disagreement with my *ahem* boyfriend last night regarding my being too tired to chitchat, etc.

Y'all already know how I make my living & he makes his the exact opposite - union physical/manual labor.

It was almost midnight when he came to my house & I had been working on a report that gave me the damn blues. When I finally got it done, I was tired - mentally exhausted. When I was giving him one-word answers to his idle chatter, he asked what was wrong. Ninja, I'm tired! His reply was, "You sit at a desk and boss other people around all day, how can you be so tired?" I told him to shut the hell up & leave me alone. He misread my exhaustion for having an attitude.

Why is it so hard for those who have physically demanding jobs to understand that those of us who have mentally demanding jobs can be tired too?!

I wish I could say it was just his misguided thinking, but I have several friends and family who feel the same way. Damn....just because my joints and muscles aren't aching at the end of my workday doesn't mean I'm not tired too dammit!

Summer is Officially Over

Not that I'm a summer time person anyway, but the Midwest winters can be brutal & I'm just not ready for all that madness. It's been rather chilly the last few nights (like 50 degrees) and I've gone from cropped pants & sandals to a jumper & tights. What the hell happy to the happy medium? LOL

On another note, I'm gonna try to sneak in another quick getaway before the hawk sets in.

I plan to curl up with some hot chocolate & force him to watch Sex in the City (the movie) with me this weekend. If you happen to hear blood curdling screams, it's just him protesting. *lol*

In Observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month

She Has Lupus...

but it doesn't have her!

Although, not widely recognized like breast cancer, October is also Lupus Awareness Month. Unlike breast cancer, this affliction hits home.

The woman you see in the wedding gown has been one of my best friends since high school. Shortly after her wedding in 2006, she was diagnosed with Lupus.

When she told me, she was in tears & I was certainly taken aback. I had no clue of what to say. I had heard of Lupus but really had no idea what it was. She explained what she had gone thru & all I could do was cry.

I'm happy to report my friend is doing well & enjoying her life. She has a great husband who knows what those vows meant.

I pray for my friend's healing & I know, with God, all things are possible.

She will be celebrating her 38th birthday in a few weeks & God willing, I'll be right there celebrating with her.
