RIAA Goes After "Personal Use" Doctrine - Columns by PC Magazine

This is some bullshit for real!

I can understand them working against the "bootleg" sites, but if we paid for it fair & square and as long as we aren't profitting from it, why shouldn't we enjoy what we paid for???

  3. Oh trust... if they win we're ALL going to jail.
the killer is that they have the technology available to make CDs and movies copy-proof. So why not use it?

  4. i bet they go after poor folks. its only because hip hop sales, are down. if this was country western, there'd be no concern. their biggest cash cow is running out of milk(mostly because of lack of talent) and so now they wanna get the lil guy!

  6. The RIAA as it is, may not exist in later years. They are causing more harm than good and even internally, they are destroying their own capital with the individual recording labels. All it takes is ONE bad decision, and the whole structure of the RIAA may collapse into something new. Trust, they won't be doing this forever
