OMG......I just watched this film and i was ballin'! This was the beat film to show today. It showed the view of a father for his six daughters. He stood firm n his beliefs until he died. I think everybody should see this film
It was a great movie. I am going to have pick up the book cause i always love to read the book and find out all the parts the movie missed. All in all it was a great movie and i cried hard. If you see it on DVD please let me know. This has got to be in my collection.

The struggle between dad and Kimberly Elise's character had me cracking up as well as her relationship to her other sisters.
I did wanna slap the TARNAL HELL [I got that from Silkee] out of the dad's TWO self-serving-Lazy-ass-trifling sisters....just good for nothing but an asskicking.
