Will You Marry Me?

Rating:★★★★★
Category:Other
It's damn near 5 am and I'm sitting here watching an Essence documentary on innovative African-American marriage proposals on TV1.

I'm not ashamed to say I'm sitting here boo-hooing right along with the bride-to-be & most of the other ladies. The gents are manning up & holding back the tears.

Black Love IS alive and kicking!! My faith has once again been restored. ...y'all know I tend to lose it every now & again.

  3. I most definitely agree that Black Love is still alive and kicking. I don't think I had ever given up on it even if I do see that statistics rule most of how we view things (more openly our future). I know that there is someone out there for those of us that seek marriage in the nearest of futures. I missed that show I wonder if it's coming on again so i can Autotune it. I love shows like this it always keeps me on my toes plus i love love.

  5. Black love is a beautiful and powerful thing. When you find that special someone who awakens your soul, ignites your passions and stimulates both the mind and body, you know that you are in love. I have to say, that as of this moment, that i've been blessed beyond measure for I'm in love with a wonderful man. It just goes to prove that good black men are not hard to find. Sometimes they find you. Sigh..

  13. LOVE PERIOD is a beautiful thing when it's real and genuine! I read about this (the show) in Essence magazine, but I don't have the channel to watch it. I wish I could've seen it though.

  16. You crack me up, Mo! HA! Black love is alive, lady! We're only exposed to the negative all the dang gone time.

There has to be away to change all of that. Wouldn't it be nice if we had a TV show that focused on strong marriages and how they keep the fire burning? Wake up BET. **MESSAGE** Ha!
