According to this, my house has appreciated very well. I knew it had appreciated some due to the new and re-done homes in the area. Not to mention the revitalization of the the restaurants and nightlife. "The Grove" is on and popping! :o)
I don't even want to go there.... LOL. I been trying to sell my house for a minute now. My area is a well established hub of businesses including the fact that I live right inside the beltway... and Baltimore, MD literally runs on the beltway. So my house is worth a pretty penny, as far as location location location, but the way the market is, I can't even get an oxidized penny.
ReplyDeleteThanks goodness mine has, too. The market is so bad right now, hopefully when I'm ready to sell things will still be good!
ReplyDeleteWHAT house? *lol*
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about making that BIG move this year, but I decided to wait to try to buy a home NEXT year- that way I'll have time to save up and REALLY figure out what I want.
Im with you Subira... as silly as it sounds... thats why Im trying to get all my real fun and traveling out the way this year so I can really focus on having enough money when I do make the big move. I guess by being single, and sort of not having any kids of my own, and a pretty decent job... I should have made that move a long time ago..but Im working on it... Sometimes making some really bad choices early in life tends to make things a bit more difficult and can throw off your master plans...
ReplyDeleteBut I did look up my mom's house and she'll be pleased to know how much in value her place went up.. I really dont think she even knows...
Thanks for this post
