Happy Easter Brothers & Sisters!
This is one my favorite make a joyful noise tunes. It's no secret I'm not a regular at Sunday Service, but you better believe, I get my church on, at home, in the car, at the office....or wherever I need to. ~Don't trip. He ain't done with me yet.~
Sis... I see you mention that quite often about not being a regular church member.... Im the farthest one from throwing a stone... but sometimes the people that are the most active and there at every service are the ones that dont even have a clue...no disrespect towards them.... But, after 3 long years of not being in church like I was when growing up I've just started going back... And I can honestly say that my connection to God got stronger during that break... Because I gotta chance to see God for myself... I gotta chance to witness God in action away from all the other stuff that I was becoming consumed with like anniversary programs, this and those activities... Being with God and having church aren't about the temple you frequent... The church is in YOU... whether thats while you're in your kitchen cooking, living room reading, in your car from here to there.... and even while at work... The church is simply a place to come together and worship and fellowship with like minded souls...
ReplyDeleteAnd Im sorry,, I didnt mean to sound like Im preaching... but this weekend has been a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions for me... And its an amazing thing to see yourself struggle for so long with an issue and with just one touch, and a few words of encouragement from a man of God and Im feeling pretty good today....
But before I start rambling... Just keep God in your heart and He'll do the rest... I just wanna wish and your family a Happy Easter...
