ReplyDeleteThey played the soul version at my aunt's homecoming coronation when I was a kid. I remember thinking she was the most beautiful thing walking across the gymnasium in her white gown with this song playing. She was a gorgeous BBW who beat out all the skinny chicks to become queen. She ROCKED! She was my idol! :o)
