Stalker Jamz!

Okay friends, I want all you music lovers to name a few songs that have stalker-like, stalkerish lyrics & undertones.  I especially want to hear the ones, you turn up & sing out loud with.

The ones that readily come to mind for me are:

In My Mind - Heather Headley

Walking in The Rain - Oran "Juice" Jones

Every Breath You Take - Police

Congratulations - Vesta

Never, Never Gonna Give You Up - The Maestro

Don't Go - Dreamboy
Click here for the vid (song)

Until You Come Back to Me - Aretha Franklin

Somebody's Watching Me - Rockwell
(altho this might be more paranoia than anything)

Never Gonna Let You Go - Various Artist

  2. My favorite new school stalker-ish song is Every Thought Is You (Addicted) by Kelly Rowland (which is now featured on my homepage). I sing it proudly and loudly. LMAO

    I'm addicted to you
    When I see you
    Wanna be with you
    Everything you do
    All I dream of
    When I wake up
    My every thought is you
    I'm addicted to you
    When I see you
    Wanna be with you
    Everything you do
    I can't fight it
    Coz I like it
    My every thought is you

  3. This one has got to be tops in the stalkerish video category: Father Figure by George Michael. I still love it. (Does it signify a problem if I have this as a ringtone on my phone?)

All the videos on Youtube have the embedding disabled but here's a link....

  12. Since y'all are my peeps, I'll confess to contemplating pulling a Vesta...but only for a fleeting moment. Common sense kicked in & took those thoughts away.

  15. Shake You Down (Gregory Abbott)

(well after reading the lyrics this one's borderline)
    Girl, I've been watching you
From so far across the floor now baby
    That's nothing new
I've watched you so many times before now baby
I see that look in your eyes
    And what it's telling me
And you know girl that I'm not shy
I'm glad you picked up on my telepathy now baby

    You read my mind
Girl I wanna shake you down
I could give you all the loving you need
Come on let me take you down
We'll go all the way to heaven

    Oh, I've been missing you
And the way you make me feel inside
    What can I do?
I can tell you've got your pride now baby
    Come to me, well, well
Let me ease your mind, oh baby
I got the remedy, yes I do
Now give me just a little time

    You read my mind
Girl I wanna shake you down
I could give you all the loving you need
Come on let me take you down
We'll go all the way to heaven

    Girl, I've been missing you
    And you know it's funny
Every time I get to feeling this way
I wish I had you near me, I
I wanna reach out and touch you

I can't stop thinkin' of the things we do
The way you call me baby when I'm holding you
I shake and I shiver when I know you're near
Then you whisper in my ear, oh baby, well, well

You read my mind, (you know you did)
Girl I wanna shake you down
I could give you all the loving you need
Come on let me take you down
We'll go all the way to heaven
I love you then and I always will

  23. I was watching Anger Management the other day and there was the part where Jack Nicholson's character rifles through Adam Sandler's CD collection to rid him of "angry music." He took the Carpenter's CD and threw it to the ground because as he said, their songs are filled with delusional themes.

Superstar, Close to you, We've only just begun.

LOL!! So, yep those would be my picks!!

  24. This one is so beautiful yet semi stalkerish. "If Only You Knew"

  25. Now that I listen to this song...it does seem a bit stalkerish. LOL What old soul singer remade Close to You? It's bugging me that I can't remember his name. Was it Larry Graham?

They played the soul version at my aunt's homecoming coronation when I was a kid. I remember thinking she was the most beautiful thing walking across the gymnasium in her white gown with this song playing. She was a gorgeous BBW who beat out all the skinny chicks to become queen. She ROCKED! She was my idol! :o)

  26. Lawd....Teddy P with a press n curl!! I can remember my mama playing this one repeatedly.
