My heart is breaking for this young mother.

  1. Ya know what, as much as I feel for her, I can't help but be pissed with her and wonder what the hell was she thinking letting a 4 year old watch wrestling? Kids are very impressionable, which she admitted as much about her son, so if she knew he was that impressionable and didn't tell him about how wrestling is fake, she shares in the blame that she is placing on the wrestling federation.

  2. Like sistah said, while my hearts goes out to her, WWE is not to blame for this.

  3. This is not the first time this has ever happened. You would think WWE would have a disclaimer telling kids not to do these moves at home like so many other extreme sport programs. They were two brothers playing, but she should've taught him not to be rough with his little brother. This is just an isolated incident. I will pray for this family.

  4. *shaking head* My heart and prayers go out to their family. I'm feeling some type of way about all of these children dying.

  5. WWE does have a disclaimer on all their DVDs and they do play disclaimers during their broadcasters at times saying in big AND small letters "Please, Do Not Try This At Home"

If a FOUR year old is watching wrestling, there are 2 parents who aint doing what they should be doing.

  6. I agree. Many years ago a little boy in my old neighborhood accidentally hung himself playing Superman. He tied a sheet or something similar on & jumped off a top bunk. The sheet caught & since he was playing alone, it was too late when they found him. I think his grandmother was cooking when it happened.

  7. I never let my son watch it. He was about 10 before my ex (who loved this crap) would let him watch with him.

  8. WWF/WWE and other wrestling organizations have been telling both kids AND adults not to try those moves at home long before the term "extreme sports" was ever even coined.

  9. Not totally true STO. RJ has been watching wrestling since he was born. I'm a fan and he would be in there with me. The difference is that I talk to him and let him know that those are highly trained, professional athletes and that "Don't Try This At Home" is also coming from me.

  11. I agree, a child that young shouldn't be watching it. But that's just me, all the explaining in the world doesn't always work when they are that young.
