Yanno, I was almost in tears. I mean, I was there, getting ready to boohoo my lil heart out cuz it is really a touching moment with Donny McClurkin sangin all in the background until I realized sumffin in typical QUEEN fashion:
I know that's right, Mike! I wear pants & jeans to the house of worship (and I attend a baptist church at that). Tradition has its place, but somedays, I'm not feeling the stockings, dresses, and uncomforable suits for the sake of "tradition." I have a female pastor so I guess we are unorthodox in many ways.
And I do like Girlfriends..I hate they went off the air..but they will live on in re-runs!
Lemme just add this, I was kidding. LOL A funny observation during *sniffles* moment. LOL But I don't wear pants to church, unless I am going to my mother's catholic church.
i put it like this until there is a verse in the bible that tells me or anyone else that you cannot come as u are to worship the Lord then I am coming with pants or shorts on. U think we gonna get into heaven because of what we got on? Don't think so.
Well, they are in LA - a place where any and everything goes.
No pants is old school black church & modern day sanctified church. I haven't been to church in eons, but I doubt they'd turn me away because I had a pantsuit on. Mya's outfit might have them looking at me sideways, but still.
As long as you aren't in your birthday suit & you came for the Word, no one should be concerned. If they are, it might be time to find a new church.

Yeah, that one pulls at the heartstrings...and my pastor doesn't care what we wear. What matters to him is that we're there.
