Apparently the make-up line E.L.F. ( Eyes, Lips, and Face) has been bought out by Nordstrom and will be re-packaged with the Nordstrom name on it. They are getting rid of all the make-up in ELF packaging.
I hear it's pretty good make-up. They are selling most everything for $1. Yes - one dollar. You do have to pay shipping, however, even with that charge its cheaper than buying make-up anywhere else and it is fun to try things when you don't have to worry about the cost!

ReplyDeleteI got my order, too! I like the eyeshadow! But I didn't like the lip gloss. They have a strong metallic smell that wouldn't go away. Weird...

ReplyDeleteI have Moisture Care Lip Color in maple sugar and Hypershine gloss in honey. Maybe I should ask somebody else to smell them! My smell is jacked up from using nose sprays for my allergies!
I got the Hypergloss in Honey and Cloud Nine. I love how they smell. Smelly lip products bother me. So I know how you feel if the smell doesn't agree with you. I like how the Hypergloss is really sheer. I can throw it on when running to the store or something without looking too made up.

ReplyDeleteI bought one eyeshadow...it has three or four colors. One color is a burnt red... It's cool, but it's real tiny!

Now, i did find the container with the multiple eye shadows cumbersome. It is a triangle shape and really small. It's hard to angle the brush in the shadow right. I love the build your own compact. I have three eye shadows and a lipstick. The shadows are Goldenrod, a burnt rusty color and black. They blend very well for a natural yet semi dramatic look.
