Raheem opened of course, with his lil cute self. Sistas, you know we hit the floor when he sang "Grown Woman". *looking for the ringtone now*
Jill is an awesome performer! The sista is bad! She's really humble, down to earth and spoke the truth.
I know my fellow 'Plyers, Deedles, Play, Sunshine & Simply were in attendance. If y'all could've seen Play....Lawd this man was in another universe! I think he stood for most of the show! LOL
All in all, it was great & if you're a fan, you won't be disappointed!
PS They were also giving out coupons to Ashley Stewart - carrier of Jill's Butterfly bra. I gots (yes gots) to get me one, because she did a lil bouncing around & her dawgs never left the yard!
Uh, let's not forget Lucy's (sorry Starr) green tipped fingernails that glowed in the dark!

I keep missing Jill Scott...but she is coming to Chastain Park in July and I wanna be there. I saw Raheem for the 2nd time over at SugarHill at Underground. Dude showed OUT. He is an excellent performer. And both of them doing a show? I KNOW IT WAS SOLD OUT!

ReplyDeleteI think girlfriend was drunk before she left the crib. Loud & obnoxious as muthafucka! I'm sure those around her complained. I think the police took her outside for a talk & some air, because she did come back & had calmed down somewhat.

I missed her twice last year, once because I had to work and the other because of a medical emergency in the family... *sighs* And in my sadness for missing one of the hottest shows and you heffa's bragging about it... Im gone play the one song that she sings that makes me cry every time... *sighs* *cries* *puts head on desk*

I decided that I wasn't ready to pay money to see Jill live, so I rented her Live in Paris DVD from Netflix instead. She was pretty good.

ReplyDeleteGiving out coupons?!?! WTH??? I LOVED the show. They had 4 shows in DC (where I went) and I think they could've had 4 more because she sells out everytime. It was worth every penny. That woman sang for almost 3 hours straight.
