  1. Sad,,, just so damn sad... Not that it can be helped now or will ever bring that little girl back, but I seriously hope that no alcohol played a part in this... Terribly sad to hear stuff like this... And it does make you take a step back and thank God for your little ones and their health and safety...

  2. That is so horrible. This has definitely ALWAYS been a fear of mine. At my old house I lived on the corner of a somewhat busy intersection. My bedroom was right at the front of the house and I ALWAYS feared someone driving into my house. I thought I was being paranoid until one night I watched some reckless teens plow into the neighbor's house across the street. It is surely a safety issue.

  3. I live on the corner of a high traffic 4-way intersection/2-way stop. I think I'll meet with my neighbors and inquire about blocking our corner off.

  4. That is a good idea. Our intersection wasn't busy at all when I first moved there. It only took three years for a house to get hit. The sad part is those kids ran up over the curb, through one yard before smashing into the front of the second house. Then they just got their obviously drunk butts outta the car and ran. They were so drunk that they didn't get very far before the police rounded them up. But it could have been so much worse, like this accident.
