Fellas, I need you to help me understand why the mere topic makes you quiver.
What are you afraid of? Inability to perform? Loss of stamina? Or do you just like dealing with umpteen baby mamas (for those with more than 2) & having multiple payroll garnishments?
I know a few manwhores who would greatly benefit from this procedure, as they seem to think when God said, "Be fruitful and multiply." He was speaking only to them. *eyeroll*
My son's donor definitely needs to see a doctor! I brought it up once during a child support dispute & would've thought I said he need to be castrated, not vasectomized (is that a word? lol) Mine is 19 and the oldest and the youngest is less than a year old. There's 4-5 in between that I'm aware of and all I can do is smh.
I've never seen women act as ignant *lol* as men do when it comes to talk or consideration of permanent sterilization.
Fellas, talk to me! Ladies, you already know you can & should chime in.
my daughter's dad had the procedure, but not cuz he didnt need too lol
ReplyDeleteI have one and it doesn't change a thing except, no Baby Momma Drama. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm getting one this year...before the end of the year. Three of my buddies have had them done. They are done with making babies. I AIN'T making none at my age so I can only trust me to make sure no surprises pop up.
ReplyDeleteA lot of folks need to get their shit fixed - too bad some [men AND women] didn't do it before they had kids and fucked up their kids lives.
Oh well.....
You ain't NEVA lied!
ReplyDeleteI'm fitna go get Billy Ray to come over and answer this question!!!
ReplyDeletePlease and thank you!
ReplyDeleteEveryone should feel free to direct their connects here, esp. the men!
then you've never met my cousin. That trifling heffa has 4 kids, each one has a different daddy. If ANYBODY needs something fixed it is HER ASS! My mom has the oldest child [who is now 15], my cousin's stepfather and HIS wife had the second child...and my cousin has the two youngest boys with her...I would love to get them because she is sooo beyond unfit - but she hates me and we live in different states [she is in Michigan and I am in Atlanta].
ReplyDeleteWON'T take birth control pills, WON'T use condoms [I guess she is immune to AIDS] and is abusive to those two baby boys.
And yup, I have another cousin who has 3 kids....3 different daddies. THEY BOTH get on my nerves.
Who in the hell told them it was their goal in life to populate the earth and then dump their issues on these kids.
PISSES ME OFF! But nobody ever wants to talk about that.
JT - My sister had 5 kids by age 26 (the last 2 are twins). I have a cousin who had 3 kids by age 21 and now has 5. Even after the 3rd one & my aunt acting a plum fool at the hospital, they refused to tie her tubes!!! Now if that's not the dumbest shit, I don't know what is. It's apparent these wenches have no regard for themselves or the lives they are creating.
ReplyDeleteyeah, its really sad, while all of that sillyass drama is going on, and the moms and dads acting a damn fool and I'M GROWN, I GOTTA LIFE TOO, and all of that bullshit, THE BABIES ARE STILL HERE.
ReplyDeleteThank God for the grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and siblings who are willing to step in for the sake of the babies.
If I could get my cousins two boys I surely would....of course....she would just reproduce...AGAIN...and that is what pisses me off even more.
You know... it really chafes my asscrack when I hear women saying "they wouldn't let me get my tubes tied"...
ReplyDeleteIt is a sin and a shame that in the new millennium women are still at the mercy of our DOCTORS when it comes to our reproductive health. Yes, dammit... we all know it's permanent. There are ten thousand and six forms to sign that make it CLEAR what you're doing. We also know that insurance doesn't pay for reversal surgery IF you change your mind later, but that kind of procedure shouldn't even be considered unless you find yourself in a totally different set of circumstances.
I don't understand what the problem is, especially for young women who seem so opposed to other methods of contraception or abortion. If you can barely take care of the ones you have now, and you know that MORE would be a burden, go GET YOUR SHIT FIXED!
hmmm hmmm hmmm hmmmm I haven't finished making my football team yet hell nall!!
ReplyDeleteThe age of 30 was my self-imposed reproductive deadline. Since 30 was fast approaching, I scheduled the procedure for June (3 months before my birthday). Unfortunately, they discovered my heart condition, cancelled the surgery and in the meantime, I got pregnant.
ReplyDeleteLong story short...my son was due in September. I signed the papers to get snipped 5 months beforehand in April. I was NOT gonna leave the hospital open this time...HMPH!
I'm not going to lie, I'm very leery at the thought. I have decided (pretty much 95% sure) that I have my boy and my girl and that's cool and I'm done. But that 5% keeps nagging at me saying "Well, what if your circumstances change and you want another down the line?". Plus I don't have hella baby mamas and kids all over the galaxy or anything like that and I'm not even 35 yet so I admit I have some pause about the subject. Maybe after I turn 35 I will revisit the issue, perhaps the 5% will be down to like 2% and I will consider it. But right now I'on know
ReplyDeleteOkay just kidding I thought about doing it once I know what you are thinking what happen hmm well in all honesty God was talking to me to when he told men to be fruitful and multiply. I guess I should be happy with three boy and I am not getting any younger. Aw hell yeah as I was typing Bigdaddy message showed up hell yeah I agree with what he said yeah thats it I will get Neutered later on in life!!
ReplyDeleteI know a guy who had it done and he's great with it. He has two sons and doesnt want anymore babies. I just think men who decide to get this procedure done is taken a real stand up approach to their life. It takes a real person to be real with him/her self to decide to zip it, lock it, and putting n their pocket. I commend all those on this panel that's had it done or will be havin it done. They realize that this procedure is not CUTTING OFF their manhood!!
ReplyDeleteI don't because in my mind it is an unnecessary surgery. Before I was married I used condoms, because it wasn't just about getting pregnant it was about disease prevention. Honestly tying the tubes and getting vasectomies don't cure the problem of responsibilty.
ReplyDeleteYes it does keep some idiots from bringing children into their irresponsible and wreckless lives but they will still have unprotected sex and thus will still be a threat to their sexual partners and others they come in contact with. People have to start using contraception. I like it raw as much as the next guy, but only raw with my wife, period. I don't want it to burn when I pee, I don't want smelly non smelly or otherwise odorous clear, milky or yadda yadda yadda discharges(that is not basic sexual ejaculation), I don't want sores, I don't want critters.
I mean I am sorry all this just get snipped and it is okay talk is a problem it ain okay. Thats like saying okay I'm going to give this idiot a gun and remove one bullet. You need to start adding consequences to their minds not removing them or else your just making it easier for people to hurt themselves.
And some people are probably just victims of munchausen syndrome, they love the attention and good bad or otherwise nothing gets you more attention from people then a child on the way. So there you go like a lot of other cosmetic shit I feel it is unnecessary and the wrong idea, way deeper issues are usually at hand, especially in all the examples I have read from others in this thread.
To answer your question as to why some men avoid the topic, it's because it's usually brought up by some bitter woman who wants to use it as a way to punish us for what some other dude did to her.
ReplyDeleteOr just a bitter woman in general lol
ReplyDelete*ducking bitter blows*
Amen!!!!!!!! NO pun intended!!!!
ReplyDeleteNow watch the attacks there coming if not now then later. SOME SISTERS ask question wanting to know our opinions and once we answer them and they aren't hmmm exactly what they want to hear theres a problem. And in case anyone was wondering I am not talking about the sister that wrote this either LOL! Aw yeah and my all time favorite write now as we type people are judging us because of our opinion owe well hell I don't care. I never understood how people could get upset at what someone else chooses to do with their own body. I am not on public assistance so it should effect anyone one way or the other !!
ReplyDeleteMo, I'm sorry Billy Ray over here acting up on your page, I'll grab my broom and shoo him away now!
ReplyDeleteBut before I do, he really needs to go get his ass fixed for I have more kids than Miss Wayans.
No need to shoo him! I appreciate the honesty.
ReplyDeleteYeah but if your kids make as much money as Ms. wayans brood are you gonna be mad you had all them chirrens?
ReplyDeleteI got yall asses beat...
ReplyDeleteMy sons aunt (not my sister) is 31 years old right now....She had 10 kids BEFORE she even turned 28!!! If memory serves me right, I think she has 5 or 6 different baby daddies. That is beyond ridiculous. I'm about to turn 33 next saturday and if I don't drop another kid by 35, its all over. I can't lie, I do have a fear of a scalpel going to my nuts but also I fear the stuff you cant see, like hormonal shit. My money shots are legendary and I wonder will I no longer be able to drown a woman with my man milk (hey, I like that shit ok, sue me!). My situation is a lil different tho. I have 4 kids, 1 baby momma but I am raising my mothers 3 youngest daughters as well. So in all my years, I've only dropped one seed. I want to be sure that I can live with that!
Holla Black!!!!!!!!!!!
Look, I am already blessed to have three strong healthy sons as it stands. Everyone keeps telling me those boys are gone make me rich one day! Trust me when I tell ya I don't need anymore.
ReplyDeletePlus, for my health's sake (and for my own sanity and current pocketbook) it is much better that I don't continue having them. Me and Billy Ray up there continued this conversation over lunch. (I know, terrible dining etiquette to be talking about getting snipped over Pad Thai. LOL....
But seriously, with my current health status, it makes more sense for him to go through with it than me. But men and their fear of needles near their dicks...Hmmmph!!! LOL
This is true, but this is about the male responsiblity outside of condoms & such, esp. these mofos who drop a baby on every threshold they cross. You know it's a whole hellava lot easier for a man to say he has no children and be convincing than it is for a mother. Sadly a lot of females get caught up in the trickeration behind the males and their lies.
ReplyDeleteI know a few grown ass men still claiming one or two kids, when in fact they have been proven 99.9% and are paying support for 5-6 & the difference they want to keep a secret.
No attacks from me bro! For the most part, I already know the female perspective & I'm moreso interested in the male opinion on this topic.
ReplyDeleteBrothers, don't bite your tongue. State your case! I want to hear it.
The fear of being cut I understand, but you don't have baby mamas scattered all over the state & might want another kid someday. Your reservations are understandable.
ReplyDeleteNawww bruh, I got choo beat!
ReplyDeleteI have a half-sister through my biological father. At the young age of 12, she got pregnant. This is back in 1988 or so when it was still kinda unheard of for a 12 year old to come up pregnant. She gave birth to TWINS at age 13. She went on to have 7 children by time she was 19. When I ran into her on the bus back in '96 or so, she was pregnant YET AGAIN.
But dig this.
ALL of her kids were snatched by the state a couple of years earlier. Everytime she gave birth, the state would show up to take the baby before she left the hospital. Last count I believe is 9 kids. When I saw her, I asked her if she was gonna get her tubes tied she said no. She said her mama had 10 and she wasnt stopping until she had reached that amount at least. Her and her mother felt that God put the baby in them, so they had to have them.
GO FIGURE.
I seriously doubt that was GOD pulling her hair and smacking her ass while she was getting hit from the back. LOL
ReplyDeleteLOL(am I going to hell for laughing at this lol)
ReplyDeleteOkay, since we are playing the one up game, I think I have the ultimate in that category LOL. And I hate to put my fam on blast but here goes. My brother has 22 children(that is CONFIRMED, there are two others that we aren't sure about). To make it worse though, guess how many baby mothers he has? (I'll wait lol)
ReplyDeleteI'll take 22 for $100 Alex.
ReplyDeleteI will take 22 too! LOLOLOLOL
ReplyDeleteok, ok, ok, wait, imma say 21. he had a relationship with one of them that lasted through 2 kids.
ReplyDeleteNope, he has 5. Yes, 5 is a lot but for 22 kids that's amazing because this meant that he had to keep going back to these same women and they all kept taking him back. He apparently had a cycle that he went through with them
ReplyDeletemy damn! only 5? lemme guess, each mother has a kid in between the other mothers???
ReplyDeletePretty much
ReplyDeleteOkay if this is about male responsibility why are we talking about vasectomies. Some guy is gonna miss out on the life of a great kid, karma is a bitch he will get his. All vasectomies do in my mind is set people up for pain. A vasectomy stops pregnancy thats it, it doesn't stop aids, or herpes, hepatitis, chlamydia, syphillus or gonnorhea. In essense it's fools gold, at least with a pregnancy you get some kind of warning a late period, some cramping anybody know the symptoms of gonorhea off top? Syphillus? The clap?
ReplyDeleteAnd sex takes two people unless it is masturbation, so if he didn't bring a condom and she didn't either falls in everybodies lap. We need to stop scapegoating and passing the buck and look at the truth, it's your body you have a right to be concerned and you have a right to bring protection. I did it because hey I might get lucky and I wanna stay lucky a woman should because she might get lucky and she doesn't want any lingering effects.
Apples & Oranges! STDs are a whole different topic. This is about innocent lives being created and damn near tossed by the wayside.
ReplyDeleteWe are talking about vasectomies for those MEN who have CREATED more children than they or anybody else for that matter can care for. My comments are directed towards them, not men who have no children or 1 or even 2 if they plan to procreate or eventually have more, as long as they are in a position to care for them properly.
I think lil mama has some mental issues...for real.
ReplyDeleteI've always planned on getting my tubes. I always wanted another child. I don't want my son be the only child. At 35, I'm getting my tubes tied. My ex and I used to argue about him getting a vasectomy. He would always say, What if something happened, I couldn't get hard no more!! Please, I never understand what's the big deal.
ReplyDeleteSHE DOES, BUT THATS A WHOLE 'NOTHER STORY. SHE SHOULDA BEEN STERILIZED. SERIOUSLY.
ReplyDelete
