Since we are definitely feeling the effects of global warming in the STL metro area, I'd like to go out for some grown folks fun, but Negros can't seem to let the "shoot out the old and shoot in the new" tradition go, I'd have to sleep wherever I go. I live in the hood and it'll be like bombs over Baghdad 'round here. Wherever I am when the sun sets is where I'll be.

Lord willing, I'll be at home watching the Beverly Hillbillies marathon, enjoying homemade salmon dip and dodging projectiles.
ReplyDeleteI will be home, hopefully in bed. Since I moved to an area with strict law enforcement I hope to have a quiet New Year. I'll have to get out to get my snacks and libations early. I don't want to get hemmed up.
ReplyDeleteGYRL BYE! I live in the "hood" too, so I know exactly what you mean. They've already started poppin' off shots mostly late Saturday Eve. I'm happy I'm going to Ohio to spend time with family. My Brother is having a party, Jose and I have never been out of the house on New Years Eve since we've been together.

It's a Law & Order Marathon... I'm trying to chill up in here and watch that... still working on leftovers from Christmas dinner... gonna get some laundry done and make a pilgrimage to the fabric store and just spend the day doing what I love the best... sewing. Maybe some of the girls will show up tonight and we'll chill... I'll put on some loud music and hopefully there won't be any stray bullets through my windows tonight.

ReplyDeleteno plans, prolly just sit and chill at the house...i have a cabinet full of alcohol if i want to make a drink, i have white zin and merlot if i want that...Nachos, now that is a thought..i may have to run to the grocery store...lol me and the lil one just gonna chill at home. may get her some sparkling grape juice and put in a wine glass...lol

ReplyDeleteI finally decided on going to church tonight. My mom's preaching this evening and I know she doesn't want me to miss her speak. Also, our family has much to be thankful for this year. It's been a very challenging and difficult year for us, and we are welcoming 2008 with open arms.
