Top 10 Thurs - Vacations


 

The top 10 places I'd like to visit before I meet my maker:

  1. Egypt
  2. Milan
  3. Cannes
  4. Belize
  5. Seattle
  6. Barcelona
  7. D.C.
  8. Jamaica
  9. Hollywood (I think it's highly overrated, but I wanna see for myself.)
  10. Alaska (specifically a cruise)

    I've been to Vegas 3 times....in an 18 month period....smh Loved it! Been to Cancun once & loved it too! I thought I was gonna need a 12-step program when I left that place. LOL

    I have been to Hawaii-beautiful
    I have been to Paris-really nice the architecture is nice but the city itself is a lil dirty
    I have been to Jamaica, has a nice time, climbed Dunns River Falls
    I have been to Cancun...We got tore up in Cancun...That tequila will do it err time...(or was that in Cozumel)...lol

    and I can never get enough of going to Denver ;-) The mountains are BEAUTIFUL!!!

    I would like to set foot on the other continents (excluding Antarctica) before I take my dirt nap. No city specifically, but just to see the other side of the world would be nice.

    Hmmmm I am such a homebody but the places that top my list are definitely:

    1. Paris--maybe I can use the little taste of French I Iearned in high school and college.
    2. Egypt-- as an art major, I loved art history especially Ancient Egyptian art. I want to visit the Valley of the Kings one day. I'd love to see the King Tut exhibit that is going on right now.
    3. Somewhere in the Caribbean--- just cause.
    4. D.C.-- planning to visit there in early 2008. One of my BFF's moved there in April. She is encouraging me to make the move also. But I gotta check it out first.
    5. NYC-- at Christmas and NYE. It's always been on my list.

    For me, that's about it. Maybe Canada.

    You'll LOVE Seattle... Me and The Dude went a couple times and we've made plans to go this October... Pays to have friends in some areas... But you'll absolutely love Pike's Place Market... and the Space Needle... but dinner up there is kinda expensive... so bring the plastic..

    For me...

    I wanna do a Cruise somewhere... Dont really matter where... Just wanna go..
    Texas, only because I have friends there I havent seen in years
    Paris... My military cousin lives there and I have to see what he brags about all the time..
    California... Me and the mom's is going in June...
    Costa Rica... great area for fishing... and i LOVE fishing... but never fished on this level...
    Atlanta used to be big in my book,,, but I dont hear so much good about it anymore...
    Bahamas or Jamaica is also tops on my list...
