I cut it really short (it wasn't hitting my shoulders) last November. I couldn't even ponytail it. I kept it that way for a while. It has grown back some, but I've kept it shorter than usual. I was gonna go back short yesterday, but didn't because I wasn't too sure how the color thing was gonna pan out. I let my stylist pick the color because I was so indecisive.
I had never used permanent color in my hair so I had to get a strand test last week to be sure I wasn't allergic & my hair could handle it.
I'mma tell yo ass one mo' 'gin - it's my signature smile dammit! *lol*
I was fresh from the salon when I snapped this pic. I'm the slickback/ponytail queen, so unless I need to be extra cute or I have a hot date, I'm not spending a whole lotta time on hair.
I will tell you it takes me an hour to flat iron my hair after it has been washed & dried. Daily touch-ups take no more than 10-15 minutes.
Its cute... and I already know Monni is gonna rip me a new one... But she knows I love her never changing smile... Its who she is.... but who would I be if I didnt mess with her about it... lol
One of these days Im gone get it good.. I guess...
Don't be inspiring me. You know I am still sitting on my hands trying not to cut my hair off! I would love to get a color, but my hair doesn't take to rinses and breaks off really badly when I dye it. That was the reason I had to cut it all off last time, I had to cut the dye out cuz my ends split all the way up to where the dye was. POO! I want a new look, but don't know what to do to achieve it cuz of this so called GOOD HAIR!
Nice do!

With your skin tone, you could pull off either one. I'm sure your stylist will help you make the right decision.

ReplyDeleteLOL Funny. Those are some big assed drinks BTW
ReplyDeleteI think you're stuck in the same rut I was in. Change is good sis & it's only hair & it will grow back.
ReplyDeleteI say start with a moderate cut & let the pros do the color. It's gonna cost more than the box color, but you will be glad you did.
Everybody I've passed in the office today is complimenting me on this new do!
My granny has said red was my color from the day I born. I figured it was safe to kick the hair up a notch & I love it!!
Change + my hair = DOG HAIR! LOLOLOLOL
ReplyDeleteOh DAYUM LOL
ReplyDeleteBut I am soooooooooo sincere. LOLOLOL
ReplyDeleteYou will NOT end up with dog hair!! Crazy azz woman! *lol*
ReplyDeleteWow, your hair looks really healthy. what hair products (hair grease, shampoo, conditioner, etc...) do you use?
