I'm reading a magazine section on hair removal tips & there's a salon owner who has converted all of her waxing clients to using the powder. She says" It gets rid of everything--even coarse hair--but it never irritates."
What say you???
PS I'm giving it one star, only because I have no clue.
Well the customers on Walgreens.com gave it 3.5 stars. Some customers said that it burned. I think I'd rather stick to using hair conditioner when shaving. That seems to work the best for me.
ReplyDeleteBecause some people reported burns, I'm giving this one 2 stars.
I had a boyfriend once who used it on his head every day....
ReplyDeleteIt works, but it skinks to high hell... kinda like lye based relaxers...
ONE star
I don't know about that. I wouldn't be averse to trying it however I have very sensitive skin and do not want to be burned. I'm going to try using hair conditioner the next time I shave. I've always used shaving cream or nair / sally hansen hair removers
ReplyDeleteI was going to ask if it still STANK ALL TO BE DAMNED lol. My brother used to use that shit and good lawd, that's funky.
ReplyDeleteConsidering the source of the quote mentions her waxing clients, I'm thinking she's using the powder for bikini waxes & such. *Hmmmmm...*
ReplyDeleteSo you mean the hoo hoo is going to smell like magic shave, NOT A GOOD LOOK, NOT A GOOD LOOK lol
ReplyDeleteDude! After reading these comments, I wish they named the salon but of course they didn't. I would've called and asked. *lol*
ReplyDeleteMy Dad used to use that stinky stuff. It's the only thing he could use that wouldn't give him razor bumps. He'd mix it up and spread it on, let it sit and then remove it with a spatula-like thingy.
ReplyDeleteIt must've worked because he was baby-bottom smooth and he used it for years. Only thing is it smells HORRIBLE! The whole house would smell like a nasty combination of perm, rotten eggs and ammonia. Pew!!!
that shit stinks. *ewww8 and I somehow doubt that it wouldn't "burn" the nether regions...
ReplyDeletenow that is a smell!!!!!! YUCK!!! (who wants their vajayjay smelling like that?) LOL!!!
ReplyDelete@ Nae, Starr & Carm - Yuck, Owwww & Yuck! *lol*
ReplyDeleteDang, sounds like if the smell could be improved somebody could be RICH!
ReplyDeleteI have seen it in dusty cans in the back of the bathroom cabinets with my daddy's stuff. But I have no idea how well it works. It stinks to high heaven but so does Nair. I wouldn't try it.
ReplyDeleteI would think so also. *shivers* That reminds me of the time I thought some bikini line Nair was gonna send me to the ER.
ReplyDeleteI will keep doing what i'm doing. My grandfather used to use it and it stinks.
ReplyDeleteit smells like nair before nair smelled decent. Ick. My ex tried it. Plus it bumped his noggin up. LOL
ReplyDeletemy step-dad has been using this product for yearssssssssssss.
ReplyDelete*remembering the HORRIBLE smell*
ReplyDeleteno stars.... ugh!
